My main responsibility was figuring out which movement system the robot will have and designing it. I designed the driving shaft, pinion gear, differential, and the braking system.
This was one of my first projects that tested my CAD modeling skills. Since the project was mainly conceptual the CAD model that we handed in had to perfect.
The rover had specific dimensions, attributes, features, and a maximum weight limit, so as a team we had to consider every addition thoroughly to make sure that it passes the tests we set up to insure that our design meet all the specifications
